Businesses and websites of all shapes and sizes can always benefit from an extra source of revenue, and pay per click ads provide a simple solution to bringing in a little extra cash.  Whether they’re your main source of income or just a little bonus, the revenue you’ll earn from them may be the extra boost you’ve been looking for.

The traditional method of pay per click advertising involves banners and pop-ups similar to what you probably already have on your site from your own advertisers.  These types of ads can give your site a very uniform look because they’ll blend right in with the other advertisements.  However, you may run into a problem with space if you have a lot of your own advertisers on your website.  For this reason, you may want to choose an In Text pay per click advertising campaign instead.

In Text PPC ads on your website show up as double-underlined links on your targeted keywords.  They don’t take up any extra space on your website, so they’re a great way to bring in additional revenue without sacrificing any of the space you sell to your other advertisers.  Integrating In Text pay per click ads into your website is so simple that just about anyone can do it.  It only takes about a minute to paste the proper line of code into your website.  That one line of code automatically places the In Text PPC ads into your website by creating links to keywords throughout the content on your website.

In Text pay per click ads are also much quieter than the other advertisements on your website, and people will only see them if they click on the link.  Remember, you get paid for those In Text ads whenever someone clicks on the link in your website copy.  The revenue you earn from your In Text PPC ads does not affect the revenue you earn from your other advertisers.  In Text ads like the ones through Infolinks are also entirely contextual, which means the product or service that’s being advertised is somehow related to the articles you already have on your website.

You can also always benefit from signing up for pay per click ads on your website, no matter how big your website is.  PPC ads are the perfect addition to your advertising revenue, even if you already have other advertisers.  You can still sell your own ad space while you rake in some extra cash on the side from your PPC advertisers.

Infolinks offers a more intelligent contextual advertising model for publishers all across the world.  The Infolinks algorithm objective is to yield the highest eCPM possible, thus ensuring the highest revenue, guaranteed.

PPC Advertising for Small Websites

In most cases, pay per click ads can make you money over and beyond the small investment it takes to set up a website.  They’re a simple way to monetize your website without adding any additional staff members.  PPC ads are also the the perfect solution for earning some cash off your website.  Pay per click advertising is also perfect for small websites because it allows you to monetize your site with very little help or upkeep.  PPC ad campaigns do take some work to set up, but they’ll keep earning you money once you get the ball rolling.

The traditional kind of PPC advertising involves the images you normally think of as website advertisements.  The PPC ad network places these images on your website, and you get paid every time someone visits your website and clicks on one of the ads.  Pay per click ads can take the form of banners across the top of your website or column ads down the side.  They’re usually very flashy because the advertisers are trying to catch the eye of internet users who’ve unconsciously trained themselves not to see their ads.

The newest method of pay per click advertising involves In Text ads.  These are contextual advertisements that link directly through the content on your website.  In Text pay per click ads are less distracting than traditional ads, and you don’t have to worry about any images you disapprove of being placed on your website in the form of an ad.  Visitors to your website will also appreciate In Text ads because they only see those ads if they choose to click on them.  The pay per click ads appear as links to the keywords in your website content, except the links that take your visitors to PPC ad content are double-underlined instead of single-underlined.  The links also have a small balloon that pops up and shows a little bit of information about the advertiser.

When you opt for In Text advertising instead of the traditional method, you’re also giving the advertisers a small boost.  In PPC ad campaigns, you want to give your advertisers any leg up that you can because you only get paid when someone clicks on the ads.  In Text pay per click ads also get rave reviews with advertisers because people are more likely to notice a link that’s casually placed right in the middle of the text they’re reading.

Infolinks leads In Text pay per click advertising networks through their guarantee of the highest revenue from In Text ads on your website.  The objective of the Infolinks equation is to yield the highest eCPM possible and guarantee you the highest revenue.

Top 5 myths of web traffic building for websites | consider a free text exchange service

Basically we’ve heard the following, but probably don’t really listen or have gotten frustrated with the common articles on how to build web traffic to your search engines. Here is how the story goes. You build a website and then don’t see any real increase in search engine placement and targeted traffic to any kind of lead generation for the product you are selling or the service you are offering.

myth#1 : Build it and they will come.

Just not true, it takes a whole lot more to drive business to your website than you are being told. 99% of people don’t have urls with type in traffic, so you need to resort to a variety of other methods in order to build traffic to see any type of ppc conversions at your site.

myth #2 :SEO is important

Well this is most likely true and not really a myth. Keywords and descriptions in meta tags are important and over the long term if you are going to see any increase in site rank or placement then you certainly need to visit a meta tag generator or some type of system to put these tags within your webiste.

myth# 3: HTML sites deliver better results over content rich sites like drupal, joomla or wordpress.

Well, I’ve developed both and I believe that at the end of the day, content management sites may be more search engine friendly as they are more massive and allow for a larger quantity of organized content but on the same token a simple html site can be easier to construct and for smaller sites aren’t as intesive on the server as they don’t require a database.

myth #4: I need to buy traffic to my site as there really is no better alternative to get traffic there.

This is sort of bad spot to have to land in, but I understand that we all arrive at the conclustion at some point that there is no easier way to get traffic than to buy it. Major search engines offer advertising and to be honest it can get costly quick. this is a dangerous and delicate path as you can spend alot of money quickly with also little benefit to your long term site development. If you have a marketing budget in place, I’d say its ok to consider this strategy more but also you need to be focused on becoming less dependent on spending money. The real power of the internet is the ability to market for free.

myth #5: Banner exchanges are good for traffic building.

They can be, there are a variety of banner and traffic exchange programs out there and for the most part it is ok to be a part of them. The few that I’ve seen have a user base that is given credits for clicking through a list of sites and must spend several seconds at each site to build credits in order to get more impressions to their own site.

Myth #5 is a pretty good, and is one type of traffic building that many sites are trying to capitalize on along with building quality link exchange pages that build quality back links between sites with a common subject matter.

The best I’ve seen is the free text exchange type of site where similar to the famous google ads, users can exchange ads between sites and build credits without having to go through the tedious effort of spending their valuable time clicking through sites that may very well result in just dead traffic.  A textexchange offers the ability to place exchange codes written in javascript onto your site…therefore you are inviting similar categories of traffic to the site subject matter that matches yours which is a plus for better ranking seo.

On the other hand, you are using these ads to generate credits to buy targeted placement of your ads on other like subject sites of those that are within your network. You want to pick a site that offers a quality exchange with sites website owners that are focused on a quality exchange. This can return very positive returns as visitors are leaving your site to find other relavent sites, you are also getting a steady stream of new visitors that are new to your site and bringing in fresh eyes for improved ppc conversion for what you are selling.

There are a number of ways to market and I personally have concentrated on the less expensive ways to market rather than spending large dollars of my hard earned cash to develop web traffic. So, consider this advice and stay focused toward achieving your goals as it takes a good collection of traffic building methods to constantly pursue in order to achieve the improved traffic results i’m sure you are looking for!

The Advantages Of RSS Websites

RSS – or what is now known as “Really Simple Syndication” – is a file format that is incorporated by Internet users in their websites to allow for ‘web syndication’, making their web content available in a format that can be universally understood by other people.

In essence, RSS is a ‘mini database’ that contains headlines and descriptions (a summary or a line or two of the full article) of your web content, including hyperlinks that enable users to link back to the full article of their choice.

RSS websites – that is, websites that contain RSS ‘feeds’ (articles or postings) – typically have colorful graphics to indicate to users that the specific web content is available through RSS feeds. These graphics are usually depicted by orange rectangles that are usually marked with ‘RSS’ or ‘XML’.

With its increased popularity, RSS is now being adopted and used by more website owners or publishers. Today, numerous resources are now available that aid Internet surfers (and even beginners as well) on how to set up and use RSS.

Setting up RSS feeds and adding them to your website can be a simple process that does not involve a lot of time or any money. Listed below are some simple and basic steps that you might want to follow:

1. Have your web content and/or news in an RSS feed format, such as XML (appropriate and ‘ready-made’ feeds are also available from other sources).

2. Click the orange graphic – this is the RSS feed icon. Take note of the URL of the RSS feed; this will be displayed in the address bar (for Internet Explorer).

3. Input the feed URL on your RSS feed creation program.

4. Click on the “Generate Feed” button. This will generate the RSS code for your web content.

5. Enter the RSS code in the appropriate place on your own website.

Having created an RSS feed for your website, next comes the task of publishing your web content and news and having them displayed on other sites and headline viewers. This is made possible with the use of RSS readers or aggregators.

RSS readers or news aggregators are used to view particular web contents. RSS readers contain the collection of ‘feeds’ or RSS files from content providers, and they are generally classified into 3 types:

·Desktop RSS readers – also known as standalone desktop application, they generally ‘run’ in the background and are similar to an e-mail client, collecting the feeds and refreshing items automatically as they are updated.

·Web-based aggregators – these are online services that enable users to personalize web pages, refreshing them each time the page is accessed or each time a person logs in to the service.

·Plug-in aggregators/readers – these make use of either web browsers or e-mail clients, which allow users to view RSS feeds while inside an existing program.

Having an RSS-enabled website provides Internet users (especially those who are website owners) with the following benefits:

·Allows users to generate up-to-date news and postings, as information and content in the RSS readers or aggregators are automatically updated each time the RSS feed is ‘refreshed’.

·Allows users to have control over the information that they wish to view or receive, as they can remove a feed of their choosing any time they want to.

Aside from these benefits, RSS websites are also useful for people who conduct their business in the Internet, particularly in Internet or Online Marketing. RSS can be an effective marketing tool for your website, especially in the following fields:

·E-mail marketing and publishing
·Search engine marketing and optimization
·Business blogging
·Internet advertising
·Digital public relations
·Branding and e-commerce

In addition, RSS can ‘power’ your website, providing you with the following:

·Valuable, updated, and relevant resources for site visitors and potential clients – RSS is ideal for websites that contain (and syndicate) a lot of information that has to be changed or updated regularly.

·Search engine optimization for the website.

·Increased traffic for the website – your website can ‘harvest’ and display information from other sites, driving more traffic to your own website.

·A wide selection of ‘channels’ for content distribution, such as PDA’s, cellular phones, voice mails, and email ticklers.

·A reliable way to have your web content delivered to Internet users and potential clients – RSS ensures that your site is viewed by the people who are interested in them, without having them blocked and ‘cleaned’ by ISPs or Spam filters.

These are just some of the advantages that RSS can give your website (and your business). The possibilities are endless, as more and more comes up almost everyday. Do not be left behind – take the advantage of the marketing and publishing power of RSS.

A reliable way to have your web content delivered to Internet users and potential clients – RSS ensures that your site is viewed by the people who are interested in them, without having them blocked and ‘cleaned’ by ISPs or Spam filters.

These are just some of the advantages that RSS can give your website (and your business). The possibilities are endless, as more and more comes up almost everyday. Do not be left behind – take the advantage of the marketing and publishing power of RSS.

Blogging Tips and Websites

Blogging is EASY and you have already waited long enough to join the millions of others who know the satisfaction of writing their own blog. Blogging is writing, and should use the proper skills and tools for your languageâ??s grammar, but it is also very different from other styles of writing. Blogging is the Internet’s fastest growing topic and I highly recommend you take a moment to find the blog that’s right for you. One of the things I like best about blogging is the connections and relationships that you make by participating in blogs. Ultimately blogging is not about the statistics or the RSS subscribers, it is about the relationships and that is what people need to focus on if you want to have a successful blog.

Are you aware of the new way to keep your friends updated of the things happening in your life? This is a revolutionary way in the internet that can let you keep a personal diary that can be viewed by many people. This is called the weblog or more popularly known as the blog or blogging.

A blog is like a journal where you can write or post your daily activities on a regular basis. The term blog is the short term for web log. Blogging is the act of adding, writing and maintaining a blog.

There are several types of blogs. These are the following:

â?¢ Personal blog â?? this is the most famous type of blog used in some of the friendly hub in the net. This is defined as the online diary or journal, where you can post your poem and other literature piece.

â?¢ Cultural blog â?? it discusses all about music, arts, theater and other popular culture.

â?¢ Topic blog â?? it focuses on the function like some of the search engines present now. Some writers who want to write about something unknown can use it.

â?¢ Business blog â?? this talk about the stock market and other business related topics. It is also use to promote businesses, to talk about economics in forum type and manage information.

â?¢ Science blog â?? it is the mode used to disseminate information and data. However, scientists only use this mode for simple scientific data and information because they believe that it could damage the credibility of their science as many people can read it.

â?¢ Moblog â?? it contains all the information from a mobile phone.

â?¢ Collaborative blog â?? this kind of blog is written by two or more writers. Particular site is open for all the writers to write together with others.

â?¢ Eclectic blog â?? it focuses on niches individually or collaboratively made.

â?¢ Educational blog â?? this is used by students to record the things they learned from their teacher including the activities done in a day.

â?¢ Directory blog â?? this blog gives a regular update of all the visited links. It focuses on particular news and happenings.

â?¢ Forum blog â?? it functions as an internet forum. It allows two or more bloggers to post discussion on the net.

â?¢ Spam blog â?? this is a form of persuasive advertising. Commonly known for the name splogs. It is characterized by the use of bold letters and self-claim advertisements.

There are many web-based blog journals available online. You can post your own blog, too. Anyone can start writing a blog. In many cases, it is free. How do you start making a blog?

Here is how, follow the following steps in writing a blog.

1. There are many blog sites available online that offers free blog posting. They also offer free accounts with many features.

2. You can blog in private and in public. Many blog site offer a blog that contains a password, only a few can read your blog. You can also post a blog that can be read by anyone.

3. You will be given an option to choose the scheme of your blog site. You can edit your own color, layouts and schemes according to your taste and personality.

4. You can write your own blog and post it afterwards.

5. Many offer more schemes for you to personalize your own blog site. You can even post a picture and testimonials from friends like most of the friendly hub do today.

6. By sending the URL to your friends, you can now publish your own blog.

You should keep your writings interesting as it can be. Do not focus on topics that readers do not find interesting. Remember to post only writings that are not offensive so readers will become more interested in your writings. You should also check your spellings and other relevant mistakes that can ruin your credibility as a writer.

Use words that can be easily understood by readers. Proofread your writings before posting. Never copy others blog, you can be issued a case called plagiarism.

With this, you are able to let the people know about what you want to speak. Information will be easier to deliver this time. Visit some blog sites and start writing your emotions.

Blog Marketing for a New Online Business – the Best Free Blog Websites and Posting Tips for You

As you know, blogging is one of the best ways to increase traffic flow to your new online business website (â??Um, whatâ??s blogging?â? â?? if you donâ??t know much about writing blogs, please read this article first.) Once you write your first entry, you start wondering, what is the best place to post a blog? What are the top blog sites that could aid the marketing of your online business?

Here is a list of the best free blog web-sites that I use myself and recommend to my team members:

Blogger.com

WordPress.com

Hubpages.com

Tumblr.com

Xanga.com

Blog.com

Livejournal.com

Zimbio.com

â??Oh no!â? â?? you say. â?? â??So many sites to sign up for! I hate that!â? No worries â?? I recommend you use the free version of the software called Roboform (http://www.roboform.com/) for all of your Internet sign-ups. Roboform fills out your forms automatically with a push of a button, which reduces your sign-up time to a few seconds per website.

Generally, itâ??s good not to make your blog sound too promotional, with no more then 2 links to any one web-site per entry, but WordPress and Hubpages are especially strict when it comes to blog content. Make sure you donâ??t put anything that sounds like a â??direct sellâ? onto those websites â?? otherwise your entries will get deleted and your account could get suspended.

If you like to write your entries in Word Document and then post them to the blog web-sites, make sure you preview your blogs before posting them. Blogs imported from Word tend to show up with a bunch of gibberish HTML codes, visible on top of the page. You would have to go to the blog edit window, and remove those manually. Once you post your entry on one of the websites I would recommend to copy and paste it from that site for when you start putting your blog on others. That way, you will be rid of the Word HTML codes forever.

Posting your blog manually to all of the above web-sites will take anywhere from an hour to 3 hours, depending on how fast you can work. My team and I have cut our posting time to 30-45 minutes, using a great free blog disseminator (a service which auto-posts blogs to various web-sites for you). I strongly recommend blog disseminators to anyone who values their time.

A quick note about the disseminators: they donâ??t auto-post blog tags â?? only the body of the blog â?? so make sure you put your tags underneath every entry. I advise my team against using simple one or two-word tags, the reason being, that they act as keywords for search engines and if they are too general, your posting will not get nearly as much traffic. For example, try googling the keywords â??bloggingâ?, â??blogâ? or â??online businessâ?. There are millions of search engine results for each of them. What is the chance that YOUR blog will show up on the first page?

Instead, try using longer tags. Think of something an actual person would search for in Yahoo! or Google. For example, good keywords/tags for this particular blog are:

Where to post a blog, best websites to post a blog, top blog sites, top blog web-sites, the best place to post a blog, marketing a new online business, online business marketing, blogging for a new business, writing a blog for a new business, how to post a blog, new online business marketing tips, best free blog sites, best free blog websites

If you havenâ??t yet joined an online business opportunity, make sure you ask your team leaders for help with blogs, as they are extremely important to your development as a marketer. For example, I provide my team with links to various blog directories and with detailed tips on how to avoid common blogging mistakes. Remember that the more blogs you write, the more people will go to your website. I would recommend writing a blog every other day for the first month after your start/join an opportunity.

I hope this was helpful to you! I wish you best of luck in your blogging endeavors.
