Every website needs to be optimized in a strategically pre-planned way depending on the number of web pages; if the website is not optimized then there is no point in having one for just to show people. One should get it optimized to get order for the business or services being offered. Social networking is one of the best ways to promote your site in an affordable manner. Social bookmarking helps in many ways it is like you get enormous amount of traffic, create goodwill in the market and product is being promoted as well, along-with the rise in the search engine ranking pages. Even if promotion is not taken into consideration it is an activity which is very healthy for any website. For efficacious website promotion, one should approach these networking forums in quite a different manner. The first thing here is to carefully mark networking forums that your target customers are likely to visit. Once the registration process is done and have become a member in the social networking forums then the next step should be make people aware of your presence.

Helping others is always a good way to get started and make friends, word of mouth always plays a big role no matter what field it is. One should help others with their queries and post answers which are relevant to the topic, so that it helps the forum community. Whenever you post a answer at forum remember to keep your link at the bottom this helps get back-links and if someone is interested in the services or business offered by you they will click on it. In this way the back-link, traffic and reputation three things are achieved by relevant posting on the social networking forums. It is very important to identify the potential customer for your website, so that targeting them becomes easier! The answers should be written in such a way that it appeals the readers and supplies the information required. Strategies that attracted the customers in one forum may not work in the other as it differs from forum to forum.

Submitting the website to free directories over the web is also quite effective and has been used by people for a long time now. There are loads of directories to which websites can be submitted and they are very helpful in getting inbound links. These directories are also introduced on a daily basis at many sites like vmoptions and easysubmits its just that the submissions should be done in the appropriate category. These directories take their time for approval of websites, but they are very effective. The efficaciousness of any website promotion technique depends solely on the website itself, the theme of the project and the business or services offered by the company. The method which was useful for one project might not be useful in the other.

While most people resort to the internet, in a bid to get the information they seek; millions have joined social networks; and are still doing so. It is therefore beyond reasonable doubt, that the majority of people will become members of social networks at one point in time; for the purpose of processing information. Can you use social networking as a tool to improve the success of your internet marketing?

Internet marketing and social networking sites has really help most successful marketers. Like I said earlier, most marketers are following this new trend. Social marketing is now employed by virtually every marketer who wishes expand his/her business and profit too. Having a good brand (name) is very important. You would want to your customers to know not only what they are buying. And it is only important they know who they are buying from too.

I have compiled 4 essential tips to help you succeed at internet marketing; using the method of social networking.

Communications: This is a very important key to success to what ever internet marketing strategy you opt to use. Your real-time customers can only get to know better when there is an open flow of communication between both parties. The same goes for potential customers. Be bold and step out into the open. Do your best to join more popular networks; start contacting people who would be interested in your business. This signifies business mutualism: They help your business grow; and return the favor.

Quality Content: content is very necessary in internet marketing. Always make sure that whatever you are selling contains quality content that will be savored by your clients. Thanks to new technological innovations and development; you can now attract people to your business with such magnetic force. Unsurprisingly, you can achieve this goal with just a little effort. Yes, while I do not encourage laziness, you want to couple your efforts with smartness and intelligence.

Help People: You also want to be the Good Samaritan of old if you are to succeed internet marketing. What do I mean by this? If you are really making money online; or you have an offline business that does as much good, passing on the information to people wont do any harm. So when you help them, they get to trust you. It increases your online credibility and customers would be willing to work with you. They also see you as a nice person and will not hesitate to believe whatever information you pass unto them.

Spread The Right Links: This is where most people go wrong in internet marketing. Dont even think of distributing the links to your social network. This is jet-age; and most people are already members of one social network or another. Talking about links, I mean, you must always include the links to your blog or website on your profile. Do not impose it upon them to click on your links. They will clearly see it in your profile and the decision to click on the links is solely theirs.

You should link together your blog and social media marketing accounts.  You want to create a network of resources that brings together your various marketing efforts.  Linking your blog to your social media accounts is essential.

 

1) Blog Postings on Facebook and Twitter

 

You can set up your social media accounts including Facebook and Twitter so that they automatically show a link to your blog postings.  This automated technique makes it easy to update your Facebook pages and Twitter account with your new blog postings.

 

One of the goals of all social media marketing plans is to keep content updated and fresh.  If you update your blog frequently you will be automatically updating your Facebook and Twitter account as well.

 

Make sure the titles of your blog posting are eye-catching and you can drive traffic from the social media sites onto your blog.  A short, catchy title will capture the attention of someone you are friends with on Facebook or who is following you on Twitter.

 

2) Add Social Media Links to Your Blog

 

People who find your blog may not know that you also have social media accounts and pages.  Make sure that your blog prominently displays an invitation for them to become a fan on Facebook and a follower on Twitter.

 

As a blogger you want to give people a ample opportunity to learn more from you and about you.  Linking your social media accounts to your blog creates these opportunities.

 

Web 2.0 is all about users participating on websites and networks.  A blogger needs to think about inviting participation on their blog and beyond their blog in order to create an overall user experience that builds loyalty.

When you are setting up your blog you will have the option to add plug-ins.  There are many add-ons or plug-ins to choose from.  Some of them can be quite useful and some of them can be quite useless.

 

Since WordPress is the most popular blog choice we will focus our examination on plug-ins with WordPress blogs.

SPAM is a serious issue on the web including on blogs.  Akismet is a plug-in option for WordPress blogs that helps eliminate SPAM before it can appear on your blog. This free plug-in is essential and is considered by many bloggers to be their most important weapon against SPAM.

 

One of the first plug-ins you should add to your blog is Akismet.  Make sure it is up to date and properly installed on your blog.

WordPress offers a backup plug-in that automatically backs up your database for security purposes.  This feature is an important safety feature that will protect you if your blog loses data or that data gets corrupted.  Hackers often target blogs so having the right security in place is important.

The Super Cache plug-in helps your blog postings get indexed quickly in the search engines.    Indexation is important because it helps people find your website.  This plug-in is often considered part of the list of SEO plug-ins but it is not part of the All in One SEO Pack described above.

 

When setting up your blog, make sure you install the five essential plug-ins outlined in this article.  There may be other plug-ins that interest you as well but these are the five most important WordPress plug-ins.

While there are results there, they are not always entirely accurate and can be cheated relatively easily through patience and careful testing. There are two strategies that you can use. The first is to bid high and lower your bid as time goes on, which helps increase click through rate and lowers click prices. The second is to raise your bid from a low start, which is great for saving money in the short-term.

2: Ignore your competition, unless you’re an affiliate.

Affiliate marketing is competitive, and paying attention to what your competitors do is incredibly important. However, if you are marketing your own business it is much smarter to just focus on your own plan, and take only a periphery view of your competitors. Focus on what you’re doing, not on what they are planning, and craft a strategy that lets you stand on your own. Distinctive advertisements are good, and help you stand out without directly compteing.

3: Third-party software can save time, but creates risks.

Advertising managers are available for social media advertising platforms, but most are not completely condoned by the advertising platforms themselves. While investing in one can save you time, and potentially increase your per-hour returns, they’re often unnecessarily risky for beginner advertisers and large-scale advertising accounts. Use at your own risk.

4: Back up PPC advertising with real social media conversation.

PPC is great for advancing in the short-term, but not fantastic for long-term plans and scalable strategies. Smart marketers compliment their social media PPC campaigns with online communities, discussion boards, and real social media channels. Build a group to go along with your ads, and create long-term interest in your products through your current customers.
